Ric Flair will walk the aisle one more time for his final match on July 31. The Nature Boy will team up with his son-in-law, Andrade El Idolo, to take on the team of Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal. Andrade is married to Charlotte Flair, who is the daughter of Ric, and fans have been wondering if she might get involved in the historic event.

WWE has already shown a willingness to work with the promoters of Ric Flair’s Last Match. Jarrett is in the main event even as an executive with the company. The case with Charlotte Flair is a little different, though.

Ric Flair has already said that Charlotte will be there for the show. It would make a lot of sense to have her appear in some fashion. According to Dave Meltzer in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it will fall entirely on WWE to decide if and how she can participate in the match.

“Karen Jarrett will be in the corner. It would seem to make it an easy set up for a Charlotte Flair run-in, but WWE would have to approve that, and she’s under a wrestling contract, unlike Jeff Jarrett. Charlotte Flair will be at the show and it’s up to WWE if she will be allowed to appear on the broadcast and how much they will allow her to do.”

Charlotte Flair has been off of WWE television for quite a while. With SummerSlam taking place the night before, Flair could make her comeback at the premium live event being held in the same city as Ric’s final match. It is a possibility that Charlotte could appear at both shows.

It may also be the case that WWE does not allow Charlotte to appear on camera. It will be interesting to see just how much the company is willing to work with an outside promoter. Fans shouldn’t hold their breath, but there is the possibility of a huge surprise at Ric Flair’s Last Match.
