The Briscoes are set to challenge FTR for the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championships in a two-out-of-three falls match at Saturday’s Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view. Jay and Mark are a talented team that has had trouble finding a spot in a major promotion due to homophobic comments Jay Briscoe made in the past. Executives at AEW’s broadcast partner don’t even want them on their network.

After a run in Impact Wrestling, Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe have finally found a home. Tony Khan spoke on a media call for the upcoming ROH PPV today. During that call, he stated that The Briscoes are signed to full-time deals with Ring of Honor.

Tony Khan also noted that there are other wrestlers signed to full-time ROH contracts that the public is not aware of. The Briscoes, he said, were the most notable. Other wrestlers are also signed to developmental deals, similar to the way WWE uses NXT.

Ring of Honor is currently without a television home. That means that Jay and Mark Briscoe can only wrestle on pay-per-view unless Warner Bros. Discovery decides to change their tune. Still, Tony Khan must be confident if he’s signing talent to exclusive ROH deals.

It will be interesting to see what happens with Ring of Honor. Since Tony Khan purchased the company, they’ve run one pay-per-view and had their titles defended mostly on AEW TV. The Briscoes would be among their most high-profile stars.

Fans who can’t see The Briscoes on TV will be able to catch them on Saturday at 8 PM. ROH Death Before Dishonor airs live on Bleacher Report and traditional cable and satellite pay-per-view. They are among the true legends of Ring of Honor, and they’d like to cement that legacy by capturing the gold.
