FTR has been one of the world’s best tag teams ever since their days in NXT. In AEW, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler have been on an absolute tear recently. They currently hold the ROH, AAA, and IWGP World Tag Team Championships. There could be more in the future.

Many fans would love to see them make another run at the AEW tag titles. Others want to see their belt collection grow even more. FTR was recently asked if they would consider chasing the NWA or Impact championships.

In an appearance on The Battleground Podcast, Dax and Cash said they wouldn’t rule anything out. If the money was right and Tony Khan gave them the OK, they’d consider it. Dax Harwood said it would need to add to their legacy in some way.

“If the fans think, and we think, NWA and Impact would add to our legacy, yeah. You know, the money has to be right and we gotta get the okay from the boss. Right now, we’re in a good place financially. Right now we’re in a good place mentally, kind of physically. So everything that we’re going to do from now on to the end of our careers is for our enjoyment and for our careers and that’s it. So, yeah, if it will add to our legacy, absolutely.”

Cash Wheeler agreed. He also said that he’s interested in the NWA United States tag titles, which are being revived soon. Both men agreed that the timing and circumstances would have to be right, but more championships aren’t exactly a turn-off for FTR.

Time will tell where the championship journey of Dax and Cash leads next. The duo will have a huge test on Saturday, as they are set to face The Briscoes for the ROH titles at the Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view. If they’re successful there, more gold could eventually be on the way.
