Cora Jade turned heel on Roxanne Perez during her title match against NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose last week on NXT 2.0. Jade assaulted her ‘best friend’ after the match with a skateboard.

The young star cut a promo this past week on NXT 2.0. Jade explained her actions and said that she brought Perez to the yellow brand and the fans made a big deal out of her. She then trashed 1/2 of the tag belts.

Jade is no longer listed as 1/2 of the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions on WWE’s official website. The company has only removed her and not Roxanne Perez. Now Perez is standing next to a vacant silhouette.

WWE had always planned for Jade to turn heel and it wasn’t a last minute decision. Jade’s actions even drew responses from WWE Hall of Famer Madusa and former WWE Raw Women’s Champion Bayley.

Bayley said Jade “broke her heart” after what she did to Perez as well. We will have to wait and see what’s in store for the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship. Keep reading Ringside News for more.
