Deonna Purrazzo used to be part of WWE NXT as a Superstar. She was eventually let go from WWE back on April 15th 2020 due to budget cuts. She also claimed that she pitched the Axiom gimmick in WWE.

As seen on this week’s episode of NXT 2.0, Axiom made his in-ring debut. He defeated Dante Chen in a singles match. Axiom was previously known as A-Kid, who is a former NXT UK Heritage Cup Champion.

Chelsea Green took to Twitter and reacted to Axiom’s entrance an in-ring debut, as she noted that ‘Axiom’ was very similar to an idea Deonna Purrazzo pitched. Purrazzo herself replied to the tweet, stating that it only took WWE four years to understand.

I am dead. This is everything @DeonnaPurrazzo pitched!!!!

Axiom’s win marked his first on the US NXT brand since March of this year. We will have to wait and see whether Axiom will find success this time around or not.
