Cody Rhodes is a pretty massive personality in sports entertainment. While he had an intense career with the WWE before reinventing himself at AEW, he’s back home and bigger than ever. The American Nightmare is one of the most prominent faces in WWE at present.
Rhodes has been recovering from the famously torn pec injury he received while training for the Hell In A Cell match against Seth Rollins. Reports have stated that the star wasn’t even supposed to win his Money In The Bank match. However, he won big and skyrocketed to further fame.
The WWE superstar is slated to appear on WWE programming soon. Meanwhile, he gave an appearance at the ESPN ESPY awards. During his time there, he took on an infamous tortilla challenge with ESPN’s Gary Striewski.
The tortilla challenge is a TikTok challenge that is picking up serious steam these days. It entails two people slapping each other with a tortilla. That’s exactly what Rhodes and Striewski did. While Rhodes slapped Gary pretty hard, Rhodes said “he got me good” after getting hit.
Cody Rhodes is currently up for the WWE Moment of the Year at the ESPY Awards. He has some serious competition, as The Undertaker’s Hall of Fame induction, Stone Cold” Steve Austin stunning Vince McMahon, and Big E’s Money In The Bank cash-in are also the contenders.
