NXT 2.0 has become WWE’s developmental brand in every sense of the word. The yellow brand is the home to future stars and main eventers like Bron Beakker, Solo Sikoa, Tiffany Stratton, and Nikkita Lyons to name a few. It appears that two superstars on NXT 2.0 could be headed to the main roster very soon.
The official Twitter account of NXT 2.0 tweeted Solo Sikoa and Von Vagner had an altercation after Friday Night SmackDown. The two squared off in singles match this past week on NXT 2.0 but the sanctioned bout turned into an all-out brawl as the two fought outside the ring, leading to a double count-out.
On Friday night there was an altercation between @WWEVonWagner and @WWESoloSikoa at #SmackDown. Tune in this Tuesday on #WWENXT at 8/7 C on @USA_Network to see what went down!
There are two possible explanations for the brawl taking place after SmackDown. One is that WWE is considering main roster call for either one of the two or both. The other is that this past week’s SmackDown took place at the Amway Center, which is in close proximity to the WWE Performance Center.
Solo Sikoa previously disclosed WWE had wanted to pair him with The Usos on the main roster but did not move forward with it. With that being said, Sikoa has been heavily teasing an alliance with The Bloodline as of late. We’ll have to wait until next Tuesday to find out the outcome of his altercation with Von Vagner.
