Fuego Del Sol, a regular on AEW’s “Dark” and “Dark: Elevation,” was most recently shown last week on AEW “Rampage,” when he teamed up with Bear Country and Leon Ruffin in a losing effort against The Acclaimed & The Gunn Club. In addition to competing for AEW, Fuego has recently been booked by companies like Warrior Wrestling, CPW, and Pale Pro Judges. It looks like Fuego could be done with AEW.
You would never know Fuego Del Sol is or has ever been a member of the AEW roster if you were to glance at his Twitter page right now. This has led to some rumors about the star’s employment situation with the business. The masked star recently updated his profile photo and background to an all-black image on Twitter.
Additionally, he deleted any references to AEW from his Twitter account. Fuego made a number of adjustments. That includes the removal of all of his Tweets in favor of just one simple statement.
“Change is about to come.”
Less than a year has passed since Fuego’s AEW Storyline, which had him competing for an AEW Contract. In this plot, he competed on AEW “Rampage” against the TNT Champion at the time, Miro; the winner would receive an AEW contract as well as the TNT Championship. Fuego finally lost the match, but in an unexpected twist, Sammy Guevara entered the ring and, with Tony Khan’s blessing, gave him an AEW contract as compensation.
For a few more weeks, this plot continued as Fuego would purchase a new vehicle only to lose it in a “Championship vs. Car” contest. On his Twitter profile, Fuego has posted his booking email in case anyone wants to get in touch with him about chances. Check out his latest tweet below.
