AEW President Tony Khan is very passionate about pro wrestling, and no one can doubt that now. He is also known to be very active on social media and tends to shoot down things he does not agree with. He did so again recently after AEW Dynamite.

The Young Bucks defended the AEW World Tag Team Championships in a triple threat match against Powerhouse Hobbs & Ricky Starks and Swerve Strickland & Keith Lee in the main event of this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite Fyter Fest.

After everything was said and done, Lee and Swerve ended up winning the match and became the new champions. However, there has been an argument against the pinfall attempt. It was speculated that Ricky Starks was not the legal man inside the ring and the referee didn’t notice that fact, thereby invaliding the title win.

Tony Khan took to Twitter and shut down rumors of a rematch and clarified any doubts about the legitimacy of Swerve In Our Glory’s title win.

That speculation’s BS! As always in @AEW + per generally accepted pro wrestling practices: the referee’s decision is FINAL! Congratulations to the new World Tag Team Champions @swerveconfident & @RealKeithLee ! See you all for Friday #AEWRampage TOMORROW @ 10pm ET/9pm CT/10pm PT

Matt Jackson also suffered a stinger during the match. We will have to wait and see how Swerve In Our Glory’s AEW World Tag Team Title run will be booked in the coming months.
