Alberto Del Rio Compares Paige’s Fan Reaction To John Cena After WWE Exit

Former WWE Superstar Alberto Del Rio’s fall from grace is something fans know all too well by now. He was facing several charges of assault, but they were dropped in the end. He also commented on Paige leaving WWE.

Paige announced that she would be parting ways with WWE this month. This is because WWE chose not to re-sign her. Paige penned an emotional letter to WWE on the last day of her contract, and now she is free to do whatever she wants to.

Del Rio was also in a relationship with Paige and it became a huge topic of discussion for many. Many fans thought the relationship was very toxic and it also ended very badly as well.

While speaking to Riju Dasgupta, Alberto Del Rio talked about Paige’s potential in-ring return following her WWE exit. Del Rio compared Paige’s fan reaction to John Cena as well.

“She’s still young and there’s a lot of people that likes her so and also a lot of people that dislikes her but that’s the way it goes in the pro-wrestling business, that goes for everybody including my good friend, John Cena. I mean there’s millions loving him and there’s millions hating. That’s the way it goes in this beautiful business.”

Paige is excited to see her journey after WWE. Many believe she might just make her way to AEW, so we’ll have to wait and see if that will happen or not.
