WWE will be holding a huge tryout during SummerSlam weekend in Nashville. Usually, these are held behind closed doors and are limited to talent who are trying to make it with the company. This year’s event will be a little different.
In a press release issued this morning, WWE announced that fans will be able to buy a ticket to watch the tryouts in person. They will take place starting on Wednesday, July 27 at the Wildhorse Saloon in downtown Nashville, with Friday’s event open to the public. Those who want to check it out can get in for just $20.
“On Friday, July 29, for the first time ever, WWE will host a SummerSlam Tryout Viewing Experience event at the Wildhorse Saloon which gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at the WWE Tryout process.
Tickets start at $20 for general admission access and go on sale on this Friday, July 15 at 1 p.m. ET via Ticketmaster. VIP tickets are available for $100 and include a ring photograph with WWE Superstars and Legends.”
Fans will have a unique opportunity to see what it’s like to take the first step toward becoming a WWE superstar. Those who attend might just see the next big thing in wrestling. There might even be some familiar faces, as WWE has invited some independent names to give it a shot in addition to their focus on crossover athletes from other sports.
WWE is planning a huge week in Nashville. Fans who are going to the show will have plenty to do, including an intimate one-man show featuring The Undertaker. Now, they’ll also get a rare glimpse into WWE’s tryout process.
