Ridge Holland Sent Big E A Package Of Meat To Apologize For Accident That Broke His Neck

Big E has been enduring a long road to recovery after breaking his neck in March. The scary moment occurred during a match on SmackDown against Ridge Holland. Despite nearly losing his career over it, Big E doesn’t hold anything against Ridge.

After the injury, Ridge Holland visited Big E in the hospital. He also reached out with a very unique form of apology. Holland sent E a huge package of red meat to make amends.

Big E told ESPN’s Marc Raimondi that he doesn’t harbor any bad feelings towards Ridge Holland. Ridge reached out and said some kind things. Big E recognized the danger of his chosen profession and understands the risks.

“I have no issue whatsoever with Ridge. He’s reached out and said some very kind things. … What we do is dangerous, and there are inherent dangers. And to that degree, we all kind of know what we sign up for, and it was unfortunate that it went down that way. But I’m not dead. I’m alive. I’m doing well.”

The gift of red meat was appreciated by Big E. Unfortunately, he doesn’t eat it. The former WWE Champion said he gave the meat to a friend, who then enjoyed “many nights of great feasts” with his family.

Ridge Holland did what he could to make things right after the accident. Big E was just happy that he reached out. Pro wrestling can be dangerous, and even the safest and most careful performers are subject to serious injuries.
