WWE Accused Of Putting Paul Heyman On RAW To ‘Eat Up Time’

Paul Heyman has been one of the most well-known and established names in the pro wrestling world for decades. He is considered one of the best minds in the industry, as Heyman truly understands the business. Vince Russo also doesn’t have a high opinion of Paul Heyman.

Heyman is second to none when it comes to speaking on the microphone. He has worked with numerous stars during his career and helped them significantly. This includes the likes of Brock Lesnar, CM Punk, Roman Reigns and more.

While speaking on Legion of RAW, former WWE writer Vince Russo accused the company of putting Paul Heyman on Monday Night RAW this week to eat up time.

“They put Paul Heyman out there to eat up time. That’s the only reason they put him out there. Paul Heyman has not said anything new or different, like literally in the last ten years that I’ve been watching his promos. So yeah, we need to eat up time, so let’s put Paul out there.

Eat time, eat television time. Heyman repeats the same cr**ola, repeating the same for ten years. Give Lesnar a high spot at the end of a segment, like we really care about Alpha Academy. We’re really invested in these two, and that’s it. By the time this is all said and done, congrats, bro; they ate up 31 minutes. Now we’ve got two hours and twenty-nine minutes left.”

We will have to wait and see how Brock Lesnar will be booked in the coming weeks. After all, he has a huge match against Roman Reigns at WWE SummerSlam to contend with.
