Andrade El Idolo made a name for himself working in CMLL in Mexico as well as New Japan Pro Wrestling. He then honed his craft in WWE and eventually made his way to AEW. Will Ospreay is also annoyed by politics that prevented him from facing Andrade El Idolo.

Andrade El Idolo previously expressed his frustration with being unable to work for New Japan Pro Wrestling. He put the blame on rival Lucha promotions Lucha Libre AAA and CMLL. He also revealed that he was supposed to face Will Ospreay at the Forbidden Door event.

Konnan would then call him out for lying about it as well. While speaking to “Wrestle Inn,” Will Ospreay talked about not being able to face Andrade. He made it clear he was annoyed by all the politics that prevented the match from happening.

“If I can just talk with the boss from AAA and CMLL –we just all get in the room together, alright? We’ll have a couple tequilas, we’ll enjoy ourselves, you know what I mean? We can sort all this sh*t out, just have a sit-down. Let’s just talk; there doesn’t need to be any of this politics anymore. There’s no reason why there should be politics in pro wrestling anymore. I can’t be bothered with it.”

Will Ospreay ended up facing Orange Cassidy in a match of the year candidate instead. Regardless, we’ll have to wait and see whether Andrade and Will Ospreay will duke it out in the future or not.
