Kevin Owens’ relentless denials that Ezekial and Elias (and Elrod) are the same person has been one of the more entertaining storylines on WWE Raw. For the past few weeks, the angle has been on hold as Owens recovers from what was reported as a minor injury. KO’s return has been on fans’ minds ever since his first absence, but it shouldn’t be much longer before he is back.

Owens was scheduled for a Money in the Bank qualifying match with Ezekiel, which WWE at the time said had to be postponed. Since then, Kevin Owens has appeared at the NHL Draft, where he appeared to be in good spirits. Still, fans will have to wait a little while longer before he gets back into the squared circle.

Dave Meltzer discussed the situation on the Sunday Night’s Main Event podcast. He said that Kevin Owens is doing fine. However, he is likely to miss a few more weeks of action.

During his appearance at the draft, Kevin Owens was asked by Vancouver Canucks head coach Bruce Boudreau when he will be back. Owens simply said that his return will be coming soon. That is a relative term, but it looks like it will be within a month.

Upon his return, it is expected that Kevin Owens will continue his rivalry with Ezekiel. The storyline has been hilarious since starting around WrestleMania. Owens has been losing his mind over why anybody would believe that Ezekiel and Elias are different people.

It will be interesting to see how things play out after KO returns from his time off. His story with Ezekiel has been popular with fans. It should be able to get back on track as soon as Owens can return to TV.
