John Cena is a 16-time World Champion and carried the company on his back throughout the PG era. Cena eventually became a part-timer due to his Hollywood obligations as well. Kevin Nash also feels John Cena’s return promo was lackluster.

Big Match John finally returned during a previous week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. It was to celebrate his 20th anniversary with WWE, so naturally, he reminisced about his career in the company.

Cena’s promo skills are second to none for many, and fans were happy to see him back. While speaking on his new podcast called Kliq This, Kevin Nash talked about John Cena’s promo during the show. Nash stated that he feels Cena’s return promo was lackluster.

“He cut a promo and one of the things that I’ll say for John is [that he’s] probably top-five promo guy of all time. To me cutting a promo is like playing golf. You could tell that John had not cut a promo in a while. He was still solid, but it didn’t have the same, y’know.

WWE may also delay John Cena’s next match for WrestleMania 39 as well. WWE also got dragged for considering Austin Theory vs John Cena. We’ll have to see if Cena will compete next year or not.
