Kenny Omega’s in-ring skills made him one of the best pro wrestlers in the world. Omega has competed against the best of the best the pro wrestling world has to offer as well. His wrestling style was also blamed for his numerous injuries.

The Cleaner has been absent from AEW television since he lost the AEW World Championship to Adam Page at AEW Full Gear. Omega is still recovering from his injuries, and it still might be awhile until he’s back.

Omega has suffered various injuries over the years as well, due to his high-impact style of pro wrestling. While speaking on Jim Cornette’s Drive Thru, Jim Cornette blamed Omega’s goofy style of pro wrestling for his numerous injuries over the years.

“Maybe he should’ve thought of that before he started doing all the goofy sh*t where he dives out of the ring like a f*cking whooping crane and just lands willy-nilly wherever and all this other stuff. I genuinely do not wish that he should injure himself, I just think he should take this time off to reflect on his profession and get a new one so that we don’t have to watch him anymore.”

Kenny Omega still isn’t anywhere close to an in-ring return. In fact, Tony Khan said that there is no timeframe for his return as well. It remains to be seen when The Cleaner will return to AEW television.
