Vince McMahon’s hush money scandal took a turn for the absolute worst. A report alleged that the former WWE chairman and CEO paid off several women using his own funds to keep inappropriate relationships under the radar. The previous report revealed $3 million to keep consensual relationship quiet. However, these instances include unwanted encounters as well.

McMahon has been trying to keep appearances up. However, he stepped down as the CEO and Chairman after the initial reports. Stephanie McMahon holds the reins, though apparently Vince McMahon still has major creative control when it comes to shows and storylines.

This is the perfect storm for Vince McMahon. As several figures reacted to this, with WWE talent expressing that they knew more information about McMahon was to come out, social media has also turned on Vince McMahon.

#FireVince has been trending on Twitter, after the Wall Street Journal’s $12 million hush money report became public. Many Twitter users found the news appalling, calling for Vince McMahon to be fired from WWE. Former WWE star Ryback also got to take his shots at Vince McMahon. You know Ryback loved doing that.

McMahon stands at the center of a huge investigation that will continue to expose the internal hush money pacts he’s made. Even though he was defiant after his SmackDown appearance after the report, his image might become permanently tainted.
