The team of Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins has worked hard to establish themselves as one of the top tag teams in all of WWE. The Street Profits became a draw due to their solid skills inside the ring. Angelo Dawkins also believes Montez Ford will be a world champion one day.
For a while now, there has been speculation that The Street Profits might just break up. Ford certainly has all the tools in order to succeed as a singles star as well.
While speaking on Corey Graves’ After The Bell podcast, Angelo Dawkins made it clear that he believes Montez Ford will be a world champion one day.
“I’d be lying if I said I didn’t hear all the talk on the internet all the time about Tez. Tez is a freak of nature. That’s my brother. I know he’s good. I know he’s talented. He’s destined to become the world champion. But then, on the other hand, I saw people talking about me like I’m some scrub or whatever.”
Monez Ford also recently stated that he wants to become a WWE Champion if The Street Profits break up. WWE could also be planning a singles run for Montez Ford. We’ll have to see whether WWE will pull the trigger on Ford’s single run or not.
