AEW and NJPW’s partnership became one of the biggest topics of discussion for many fans since it became a thing last year. AEW finally held the ‘Forbidden Door’ event on June 26th, and it was a memorable event. AEW and STARDOM could also announce a working relationship soon.

The ‘Forbidden Door’ did not feature any STARDOM talent, and that disappointed fans. It is to be noted that Tony Khan himself wanted to use STARDOM talent for the event.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AEW and STARDOM have been in talks recently. It was said that they could announce a working relationship soon.

“There has been communication between AEW and Stardom of late. There are no deals but we’re told to expect something. There had been no talks in the past. We do know that Stardom is interested in getting dates with some AEW women, notably Toni Storm. But we were told to expect some stuff to happen. Storm has said she’s interested in working there as well.”

We will have to wait and see when STARDOM will be working with AEW. With the likes of Thunder Rosa and Toni Storm being present, fans would love to see them working with Japanese stars as well.
