AEW has certainly come a long way since its inception back in 2019. The product has undergone many changes since then, but there are many areas they can still improve upon. That being said, they are struggling to sell tickets for Dynamite this week.
Tony Khan’s company has been going through a rough patch. This is largely due to the inconsistent ratings over the past couple of months. The slew of injured stars certainly hasn’t helped matters, and that could have caused a dwindling interest.
According to WrestleTix’s Patreon, AEW has sold 4,672 out of a total of 7,003 for this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite emanating from the Blue Cross Arena, Rochester, New York. That is a market they used to thrive in.
AEW Presents “Dynamite-Rampage”Wed • Jul 06 • 7:00 PM Blue Cross Arena, Rochester, NY
Available Tickets => 2,331
Current Setup/Capacity => 7,003 Tickets
Distributed => 4,672
We will have to wait and see whether AEW Dynamite will be a sellout crowd. They could have 2,300 people walk up to the building for tickets, but that’s not likely. Judging by its current status, it seems that AEW’s production team will have to shoot around a ton of empty seats this week.
