WWE’s Likely Plan For Matt Riddle At SummerSlam

After transitioning from the UFC to WWE, Matt Riddle wasted no time in becoming a highlight of WWE television, whether it was in NXT or the main roster. His in-ring skills and chill character work have helped gain fanfare. WWE also has an interesting plan for Matt Riddle at SummerSlam.

Matt Riddle has been engaged in a feud with Seth Rollins for the past few weeks now. It started after Riddle lost his match against Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Universal Title.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that the likely plan for Matt Riddle would be for him to square off against Seth Rollins at SummerSlam.

So it’s probable that it’ll be Riddle vs Seth Rollins at SummerSlam. That’s the main event at most of the house shows too, going forward.

Seth Rollins has been losing in most of his feuds as of late. We will have to wait and see whether he will be able to defeat Matt Riddle at SummerSlam or not. Fans would love to see a long-term storyline between the two as well.
