Jordan Devlin was one of the mainstays on NXT UK. The Irish Ace produced classics against the likes of Tyler Bate and NXT UK Champion Ilja Dragunov. He’s finally crossed the pond to reach NXT 2.0, but he has a new name. At least it appears he is going to be in a prime position.

Devlin was advertised to make his debut as JD McDonagh next week on 2.0, but the Irish Ace arrived a week early. The former NXT Cruiserweight Champion attacked Bron Breakker following his title defense against Cameron Grimes.
Jordan Devlin was part of NXT UK ever since the 4th episode of the show was aired. While he never got to become a titleholder on the brand, the star ended becoming the NXT Cruiserweight champion before the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020.
Devlin remained undefeated for almost a year. He finally lost the title to Santos Escobar in a title unification ladder match at NXT Takeover: Stand & Deliver. He also lost to Dragunov in a ‘Loser Leaves NXT’ match.
