Adam Cole Says Triple H & Shawn Michaels Never Talked About Undisputed Era’s WWE Main Roster Call-Up

Adam Cole’s contributions to NXT after making his debut back in 2017 cannot be understated. He was involved in several of the brand’s best matches and helped make NXT what it was for 4 years. He also explained why he was never called up to the main roster in WWE.

During his time with WWE, the Panama City Playboy captured the NXT Championship, North American Championship, and NXT Tag Team Championship. However, he was never called up to the main roster.

While speaking on The Kurt Angle Show, Adam Cole theorized why he was never called up to the main roster. Cole noted that Triple H and Shawn Michaels never really talked about that with him either.

“There wasn’t a huge discussion from either of them [Triple H and Shawn Michaels] about going to Raw or SmackDown. I think they knew and they, themselves weren’t even thinking about it as well. I think they probably would’ve been nervous or scared of the idea of like, ‘Oh my god, they just took four of our top NXT stars, now what’re we going to do?’”

Adam Cole competed at the AEW x NJPW ‘Forbidden Door’ event and many were worried about his health. We’ll have to wait and see when Cole will return to AEW television.
