Chris Jericho is a true legend in the pro wrestling world who has done it all in the business. He is also proud to be working in AEW and is never afraid of showing it. Tony Khan realizes the legendary talent he has on the AEW roster, and he also gave huge props to Jericho for a good reason.

For the past few months, Chris Jericho looked in excellent shape, as he even had noticeable abs again. Jericho ended up losing weight due to medical issues during his UK tour.

While speaking to The Masked Man Show, Tony Khan talked about Chris Jericho’s current physique. Khan gave Jericho huge props for still staying in great shape despite his medical issue.

“At the end of last year, it’s crazy to think that Chris Jericho was out with a blood clot, was actually stuck in England, and couldn’t fly back. It ended up being the best thing that’s ever happened in Chris’ career, and one of the best things that happened to AEW because Chris came back better than ever, looking better than ever, lost 31 pounds, and looks like 5 or 6 years ago when Chris was really in peak shape.

Now he’s back in that shape. We’ve never seen this Jericho in AEW, which is scary because he’s been in so many of our biggest moments and was our first champion. He’s probably as strong a wrestler as we’ve ever had in AEW and he’s better than ever right now.”

Chris Jericho and the rest of the Jericho Appreciation Society lost the Blood & Guts match last week on AEW Dynamite. It remains to be seen what is next in store for his faction. If anything, at least Le Champion will look good while doing it.
