Alexa Bliss established herself as one most popular and in-demand female talent on the WWE roster. She has been part of many memorable moments and her character work continues to shine. Bliss also made it clear she did not care about negative comments regarding her dark persona.
Back in 2020, Alexa Bliss aligned herself with Bray Wyatt. Even after that ended, Bliss still had her dark and supernatural gimmick intact, complete with her Lily doll. Not everyone liked it, either.
While speaking on “Out of Character with Ryan Satin,” Alexa Bliss talked about the negative reaction to her gimmick. Miss Bliss stated that she did not care one bit about the reception.
“Anything with the Playground Alexa-Lilly stuff, there are so many negative comments. So many negative comments from the day I started till even now. People just hate on it so much. But when I was in that persona, I didn’t care.
People were investing. They were buying the Lilly dolls. Girls were dressing up as ‘Dark Alexa.’ Guys and girls. That’s what I pay attention to.” Alexa Bliss continued, “I don’t pay attention a lot to the negative comments on wrestling Twitter because I feel like… there’s ego to Twitter sometimes when you’re looking to read negative stuff. Because I feel like 90% of it is negative.”
Alexa Bliss was part of the Women’s Money In The Bank ladder match, but was not able to win it. It remains to be seen what the company will have planned for her next.
