WWE Money In The Bank was one of their biggest events on the company’s schedule. While the event attracted less than usual attention, it was a satisfying one altogether. WWE talents were also not told about the event finishes until the final day of the show.
WWE capped off the 13th annual Money in the Bank with an insane Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. It was a night of high-flying spots and tremendous action inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The Women’s Money In The Bank ladder match was an interesting one, because there were multiple botches throughout the contest, even on commentary.
Liv Morgan knocked Becky Lynch off her ladder, then climbed up and retrieved the briefcase to become Miss Money In The Bank 2022. Austin Theory and Riddle traded back-and-forth until Theory shoved him off in the final moment of the Men’s match. Theory was all alone, and he retrieved the briefcase to become the winner. It was recently reported by Sean Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall that WWE did not disclose any details about Money in the Bank finishes until the day of the show.
Finishes had not been relayed to all talent by Saturday morning.
The 13th annual Money in the Bank pay-per-view event is worth talking about for a while, but SummerSlam is right around the corner. We will have to see what happens in the weeks to come.
