WWE aired a video package at Money in the Bank that caught a lot of attention. Many fans were certain that Bray Wyatt’s return is imminent. Sadly, that is not the case.

Sean Sapp reported behind Fightful’s paywall that the promo that aired during Money in the Bank is for Edge. They are repackaging him with a new gimmick right now, so that promo was not for a returning Wyatt.

At WWE Money in the Bank, some SPOOKY vignettes aired in ominous fashion, leading many to speculate who they’re for.

The working plan was for them to represent Edge. There are several indicators involved, specifically crosses representing Christian. Hardy gloves, Dudley Boyz glasses and some other references to his biggest foes.

Edge was last seen when The Judgement Day stable turned on him. They beat him down and wrote him off television after that. The report at the time said that Edge rejected WWE’s idea for a supernatural addition to the stable’s presentation.

We will have to see what happens in the weeks to come. It appears that the Rated R Superstar is on his way back to WWE, and he will have a bit of a tune-up this time around.
