AEW sent the internet wrestling community into a frenzy when they unveiled a brand-new title last month. Some sections of the internet wrestling community did not react kindly to the new strap.

AEW crowned the first-ever All-Atlantic Champion at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view event on June 26th. PAC won the title after he defeated Miro, Malakai Black and Clark Connors in a fatal-four-way match last Sunday.

The new champion will have his first title defense against NJPW star Shota Umino at the RevPro show in Sheffield, England, on July 10th, Sunday. The promotion tweeted about the bout on Saturday.
