Miro debuted in AEW back in 2020 and fans had a lot of expectations from him, following his departure. Miro lived up to his potential after winning the TNT Championship from Darby Allin. He also wants a piece of Samoa Joe.
Miro held the title for 140 days until dropping it to Sammy Guevara. After that, he competed against Bryan Danielson and then went on a long hiatus. Miro is finally back and he means business.
While speaking to TalkSPORT, Miro talked about some potential big matches. Miro made it clear he wants a piece of Samoa Joe.
“I respect [Samoa] Joe, a lot. He’s such a legit ass-kicker that I would love to face him and have that classic, put that meat to work. Wardlow is the young guy of the group. He’s got a lot more to learn. He’s big, he’s strong, he’s got the audience behind him, but there is a difference between being on the road for 10, 12, 15 years and doing it consistently.
He’s got the powerbomb symphony or whatever you call it, but once you test yourself against one of these big guys like me or Joe, who you have a hard time to pick up for one of your powerbombs, then plans change, my friend. What’s your second move? What’s your third move? That’s where the challenge for him is going to come.”
Miro was part of the fatal four-way match to determine the first All-Atlantic Champion at AEW Forbidden Door. He failed to capture the title as Pac won the match. It remains to be seen what AEW has planned for Miro.
