AEW Dynamite To Include Interim AEW World Title Match, Street Fight & More

AEW brought Blood & Guts once again this week and their viewership crossed one million with the special. AEW Dynamite is now gearing up for more. Interim AEW World Title Match, Street Fight and more are set for AEW Dynamite next week.

For the Interim AEW World Championship, Jon Moxley gets his first opponent, as was mentioned in our AEW “Rampage” teasers earlier this week. The news that Brody King, representing The House of Black, won the Royal Rampage Battle Royal was repeated in last night’s episode of the show that was broadcast on television. He will have the chance to wrestle Mox this upcoming Wednesday on AEW “Dynamite.”

The TNT Championship street fight between Scorpio Sky, the reigning champion, and Wardlow, his opponent, will now also include this matchup. Since Wardlow upset MJF at Double or Nothing last month, he has been experiencing a surge of momentum. We will get to know if he takes use of this opportunity to wear gold in AEW.

The combo of Nyla Rose and Marina Shafir will be up against Thunder Rosa and Toni Storm, the AEW Women’s World Champions, now known as ThunderStorm. The most recent incident involving the four women was when Storm defeated Rose in the Rampage main event. The four women had been having problems for months in one form or another.

Shafir would often attempt to intervene in the fight, but despite her best attempts, Storm was able to overcome the difficulties and come out on top. Before being stopped by none other than La Mera Mera, Thunder Rosa, Rose and Shafir then joined forces to defeat Storm.

Christian Cage and Luchasaurus will be appearing on AEW “Dynamite” this coming Wednesday, it was also revealed. In the episode from the previous week, Cage debuted Luchasaurus as a new heel character, decked out in all-black and sporting a brand-new entrance. A matchup between The Butcher & The Blade and Swerve in Our Glory, Keith Lee, and Swerve Strickland is also planned for the program.

Following the Royal Rampage Battle Royal, when Butcher & Blade teamed up to take out Strickland, the two teams are at odds with one another. Check out the current card below.
