Tessa Blanchard was the first-ever women’s World Champion in Impact Wrestling after she beat Sami Callihan back in 2020. Controversy exploded surrounding Blanchard around that time, and it only got worse from there. She is also set to make her in-ring return.

Tessa Blanchard was previously deemed to be “nuclear” after numerous stories of backstage abuse. She started working in WOW Women of Wrestling, but even there, she had a huge fallout. It was believed that she had burned bridges with the promotion as well.

As previously reported, Tessa Blanchard was also released by WOW Women of Wrestling. Hurricane Pro Wrestling took to their Twitter and officially announced that Tessa Blanchard will be part of the July 16th show.

Blanchard last wrestled at Warrior Wrestling Stadium Series in September 2020, where she lost the Warrior Wrestling Women’s Title to Kylie Rae. We’ll have to see how she’ll fare in her return match.
