Santana May Be On His Way Out Of AEW

AEW star Santana is having a very turbulent ride in the company. He recently got injured while trying to perform an uranage on Daniel Garcia. The injury took place during AEW Blood & Guts and his knee is in bad shape now. While his team won, Santana is likely to spend some time in recovery. Now it seems he might be on his way out of the company.

Santana is supposed to be temporarily away, but rumor has it that he might be leaving the company altogether soon. The AEW star is one of the big signings that AEW took home during their inception days.

There is strong speculation on the front of Santana leaving the promotion. Fans think that he has been looking forward to leaving the company, and has dropped hints on social media.

The AEW star took to Twitter to say “126 days” back in April. The tweet actually fit the timeline of his contract expiring, which will come about on September first. In another instance, he just tweeted the word, “Soon.”

Santana and Ortiz have also participated in many tag team matches. However, Santana has only been going for bookings for himself for a while now. All signs suggest that Santana might leave the promotion soon, but there is no official word on the matter.
