Triple H used to be the be-all, end-all of NXT until the position was taken from him as part of a corporate reshuffle. However, things might be changing for NXT 2.0. At least he is issuing public statements about new signings once again.
Triple H took to Twitter on Wednesday and welcomed mixed martial artist Valerie Loureda into WWE’s fold. Loureda was competing for Bellator until WWE approached her with a contract offer, which she accepted on Monday.
An incredibly driven young woman working hard in sport and business to make a name for herself and her family. Cannot wait to have Valerie start training at the @WWEPC and make her impact in @WWENXT ! Welcome to @WWE!
Laureda broke the news of her new career path during an interview with Ariel Helwani on his MMA Hour podcast on Wednesday. She also tweeted her aspiration to be the ambassador for Latin culture in WWE.
Triple H welcoming the 23-year-old to NXT is definitely interesting and adds legitimacy to reports that he’s back as the boss of NXT 2.0. Keep reading Ringside News for more!
