Lana always manages to stay in the spotlight, long after her release from WWE. In the end, she was let go because of her lucrative contract. She also pulled out of an upcoming debut show.

Since her release, CJ Perry has been engaged in a variety of projects and kept herself busy in many ways. She was also supposed to compete in her first match post-WWE but that’s not happening anymore.

Lana has pulled out of the inaugural show for the World Entertainment Series, which was former Author’s of Pain’s new promotion. The show, originally scheduled for June 4, will be taking place on July 9 in Nottingham, England.

Perry was originally slated to face Nia Jax for the promotion’s Women’s World Championship. However, the promotion’s site now lists the title as Lina Fanene vs TBD.
