Kurt Angle Recreates John Cena’s Famous Debut Promo With His Daughter

John Cena has been getting a ton of love these days. WWE is celebrating the iconic superstar’s 20th anniversary with the company. Several superstars and Hall of Famers have paid tribute in their own ways, and one recently made it a family affair.

Kurt Angle shared an adorable Instagram video featuring his daughter, Sophia. The Olympic gold medalist noted that while other kids want to play with dolls, his daughter wanted to recreate her favorite promo. The two did a father-daughter version of the famous John Cena debut promo where he met Angle with ‘ruthless aggression.’

The segment was recreated down to every beat. Kurt Angle called out the locker room for an open challenge. Sophia, just like John Cena, answered the call. Angle asked what quality she has that made her worthy, and she answered just like Cena.

Of course, the scene ended with Sophia delivering a slap to her dad. It was a cute moment between a father and his daughter. John Cena would definitely smile if he saw the performance.
