Alan Angels has joined Stu Grayson as the latest member of The Dark Order to quietly exit AEW. Many fans believe the faction is a major part of the company’s history, and are upset that it seems to be simply fading away. With very little television exposure and no current major storyline, the group’s future is very questionable.

Fans have taken to social media and discussion boards to talk about their resentment toward AEW’s perceived treatment of The Dark Order. Even Anna Jay has recently been wrestling in different gear. Colt Cabana and Player Uno have been seldom used. Many believe the stable is going out with a whimper when it deserved much more.

“We all make jokes about WWE wishing people best on their future endeavors, but at least we know what’s happening. People just disappearing is worse, especially for a well loved, organic team like the Dark Order”

“I’ve been so excited about a lot of AEWs big signings but it really hurts to see what’s happening to the Dark Order. They were the heart and soul of the Daily’s Place Era and I really feel like TK dropped the ball on these guys. A very rare misstep in AEWs brief history.”

“They really ran out of use for Dark Order. They dropping like flies. Just rebrand the remaining guys at this point.”

“Alan Angels is still on the AEW roster page, and he hasn’t said if he’s gone from the company, so I’m gonna hold off my full thoughts for now. But, if AEW are continuing to lose members of the dark order, one of the hottest acts in the company LAST YEAR. This screams incompetence”

We will have to wait and see what’s in store for The Dark Order. If Tony Khan is truly disbanding the group, their fans would like to see a proper send-off. Many AEW fans don’t see much promise for the future of the group.
