AEW Advised To Release Talent & Sign Sasha Banks

Sasha Banks and Naomi made headlines after they walked out in the middle of WWE Raw last month. Many people were upset with their actions, and they were given the appropriate punishment as well. AEW has also been advised to release talent, so they can hire Sasha Banks.

It was recently reported that Sasha Banks was released from WWE after the whole fiasco. The company has yet to comment on the situation, despite The Boss not returning yet. Ringside News also exclusively reported that Naomi and Banks’ contracts were in the hands of attorneys.

While speaking on the Keepin It 100 podcast, Disco Inferno advised to release talent, so they can sign Sasha Banks.

“Well, I would get rid of a bunch of people and bring her [Sasha Banks] in. That’s what I would do. I would want to bring her in. But I would want to cut the fat of the people I brought in that I’m not doing anything with. I’ll just let them go. You know, he [Tony Khan] should offer people the releases right now. Because I guarantee you there’s going to be tons of people on that show that are not happy with creative at all, because they’re doing nothing with them. You know, if he offered them a release, I wonder, you know, if that would free up some money.

WWE leadership is still trying to smooth things over regarding Sasha Banks’ situation. We’ll have to see whether she’ll end up going to AEW or not in the future.
