Jake Atlas was released leg to by WWE back in 2021 and then announced that he was leaving pro wrestling. That was not a long hiatus as he went on to sign a deal with AEW. Atlas’ domestic violence case was dropped as well.

The former WWE Superstar faced Adam Cole during a previous episode of AEW Rampage. During the match, Jake Atlas suffered a knee injury which caused many fans to be concerned.

Atlas would then undergo successful surgery to repair his torn ACL and has been recovering since then. However, Atlas was arrested on battery charges after he assaulted his partner last month. He was charged with misdemeanor battery.

According to TMZ Sports, the charge has been dropped against him. According to court documents, officials stated that they were declining to prosecute him as after an investigation, “it is the opinion of the writer that this case is not suitable for prosecution.”
