Kenny Omega’s in-ring skills have helped him stand out from the crowd in the pro wrestling world. The Best Bout machine can have solid matches with just about anyone as well. Omega also ruled himself out of a huge match at AEW Forbidden Door.

Omega has not been seen on AEW television following his match at Full Gear back in November last year. This is because he took time off to heal from all his injuries that took their toll on his body.

Kenny Omega will not be able to compete at the upcoming AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view either. While speaking with Sports Illustrated, Kenny Omega ruled himself out as Zack Sabre Jr’s mystery opponent at the event.

“I can safely say there is zero chance it will be me,” Omega said. “But the replacement is going to leave people very happy. I can’t see people being disappointed by this legitimately handpicked replacement by Bryan Danielson.”

Omega is still satisfied with the Forbidden Door event despite his absence. Kenny Omega isn’t anywhere near close to an in-ring return. It remains to be seen when he will be making his triumphant return to AEW television.
