Huge Spoiler On Ex WWE Superstar Debuting At AEW x NJPW ‘Forbidden Door’

AEW is gearing up to put on a show with NJPW tonight in Chicago. “Forbidden Door” is going to be quite a show and a big debut is expected.

The following report features potential spoilers for tonight’s AEW Forbidden Door. Fightful’s Sean Sapp reported behind his paywall that AEW is already preparing for Zack Sabre Jr’s surprise opponent.

While Bryan Danielson was originally set to face off Zack Sabre Jr., he was sidelined from the planned match, along with AEW Blood & Guts this week. While there has been no official news regarding a replacement, promotional material featuring a former WWE Superstar is in the works.

The identity of this former WWE Superstar is apparently none other than Cesaro. What seems to add weight to the idea of Cesaro being debuted is the fact that he has been actively training in the ring.

While nobody has explicitly stated a name, we were told that promotional material tied to Blood & Guts featuring former WWE Superstar Cesaro has been produced.

Cesaro was last seen competing on Smackdown back in February. The expiration of his deal with WWE did not come with a non-compete clause. It seems very likely indeed that Cesaro might soon make an appearance.
