Update: Rhea Ripley is not expected to miss much time from the ring. That still disqualified her from Money in the Bank.

Original: Rhea Ripley was set to challenge Bianca Belair for the RAW Women’s Championship at Money In The Bank. However, an unforeseen injury caused the member of Judgment Day to be pulled from the match. Now we know what that injury is, and the info came straight from The Nightmare.

While WWE hasn’t confirmed the extent of Ripley’s injury, a recent development may’ve revealed its seriousness and could explain why she was taken out of the match against Belair.

Ripley responded to an Instagram fan who said she didn’t look very injured. She revealed that she’s dealing with a possible brain injury. Her teeth needed fixed up, which we previously reported. She also showed off her insane inner lip piercing in the process. Apparently, she’s also dealing with what could be a concussion.

brain/teeth. Can’t see a brain injury. Stop being incompetent and reaching at nothing.

Concussions in WWE are a controversial discussion many within the company probably wouldn’t want to have. There’s no telling the severity of the injury, but a potential concussion could put Ripley out of action for months if it’s severe enough. This past week on RAW did see the crowning of a new number one contender for the RAW Women’s Championship in Carmella, so at least WWE is covered on that front.

As for Ripley, all fans can hope is that she’ll be back sooner rather than later. It will be interesting to see where the company decides to take the Judgement Day faction, as not only did they lose Ripley, but also changed directions by booting out Edge. After all, The Judgement Day stable was on Main Event this week.
