WWE makes plans to keep fans entertained for the whole three hours of RAW every week. Last week’s pose down segment between Bobby Lashley and Austin Theory was an interesting choice to cap off the show, but the company apparently had other plans.
R-Truth is one of the funniest performer in WWE and there’s no arguing that. The multi-time 24/7 Champion possesses an impeccable comic timing and can turn any segment his in into gold.
Truth was originally pitched to get involved in the pose down segment between United States Champion Theory and Bobby Lashley on the June 13th episode of Monday Night Raw. Sadly, that did not come to pass.
According to Sean Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, WWE Creative pitched some material to the former two-time hardcore champion so that he could join the pose down segment as comedic relief.
R-Truth had originally been pitched as being involved in the main event Raw pose down segment, and several materials were brought to Raw for him to use as comedic relief.
Truth, however, didn’t get involved and WWE went ahead with their original pitch for the pose down segment. Adam Pearce served as the mediator for the pose down competition, won by Lashley.
