Jeff Hardy was arrested again for a DUI and the world was very worried about this situation. He has since been suspended by AEW and pulled from all advertising. While there hasn’t been news on when Hardy will return, a new report reveals what’s next for the charismatic enigma.
According to PW Insider, Hardy’s July 5th court hearing has turned into an arraignment and bond hearing. Hardy will have to enter a plea, and any potential bond in the leadup to his trial will be sorted out then. As of this writing, Hardy is on a $3,500 bond.
Jeff Hardy’s court appearance on 7/5 in Florida has been officially designated an official arraignment and bond hearing in regard to his DUI-related arrest on 6/13. Hardy will plead guilty or not guilty at the arraignment while his attorney and the prosecutor will argue over what sort of bond Hardy should have enforced leading up to his potential criminal trial. Hardy is currently out on $3,500 bond.
Hardy was scheduled to compete in a ladder match with his brother Matt Hardy for the AEW World Tag Team Championships. Reports suggest AEW was concerned for Hardy’s health after the Hardy’s encounter with the Young Bucks at Double or Nothing. As of now, Hardy will remain outside of the company until he’s treated properly.
