New Japan Pro Wrestling star Hiroshi Tanahashi is all set to make his AEW debut. The star is slated for an appearance on the June 22 edition of AEW Dynamite. He is going to face off against a formidable face in AEW.

Tanahashi will lock horns with AEW superstar Jon Moxley. Tony Khan has apparently prevented the two from locking horns several times, but it’s finally happening. A lot will be at stake at Forbidden Door next Sunday, as the two stars will fight for the AEW Interim World Championship.

Jon Moxley and Tanahashi have plans that extend beyond their match, however. The two will also fight beside each other to face off against Chris Jericho and Lance Archer. With the limited schedule given, it’s not exactly clear whether the two will co-exist.

AEW Dynamite’s upcoming episode has some big names on the card. Will Ospreay & Aussie Open will be fighting fan favorite Orange Cassidy & Roppongi Vic. Malakai Black will battle Penta Oscuro in a 1v1 match.
