Matt Riddle and Randy Orton packed arenas and engaged fans for a nice run in WWE, one that was only supposed to be a three-week storyline at first. Now Orton is out of action and his best friend Riddle had to pay homage to him.

Riddle had a huge match against Roman Reigns on the show, but he came out during the second segment of the night to share a message for The Viper. Riddle confirmed that Orton has a surgery coming up and he doesn’t know if he will be able to train again.
Riddle did not confirm that Orton is having back surgery, but that was the previous report. Orton was the center of Riddle’s promo from that point on as he praised his 20-year career. It certainly seemed like a send-off kind of promo. He also dedicated his match against Reigns to Orton.
After Riddle gushed over his best friend Randy Orton, he had WWE play The Viper’s entrance music and said he hopes to hear it again soon when Orton returns.
