Randy Orton is a true veteran in the industry as he has consistently competed in the ring for more than 20 years now. He has earned the respect of fans and fellow WWE Superstars and has done a lot for the company. His father also commented on his back injury.
The Viper was written off WWE television after a vicious attack by The Usos. This is because he has been dealing with nagging back injuries for a while now.
While speaking to Bill Apter, Orton’s father “Cowboy” Bob Orton talked about his son’s injury. He stated that two decades of wear and tear finally got to Randy Orton.
“He’s got a little bit of a back problem. I think he’ll take care of everything with rehab and everything. After more than 20 years, wear and tear on the body, it’s too much.”
Randy Orton could also miss out on the reminder of this year due to his injury. We will have to wait and see whether The Apex Predator will be able to return before next year or not.
