Sasha Banks Has Eye Surgery During WWE Suspension

Sasha Banks is seeing more clearly than ever. After walking out on WWE along with Naomi, Banks has been relatively quiet. Despite that, she recently revealed that she was having surgery to help improve her vision.

Newsom Eye, a clinic located in Florida, shared Sasha’s story via Instagram. Sasha first appeared in a pre-surgery video where she expressed her excitement for the procedure. She couldn’t wait to get her eyes fixed.

“What’s up, everyone? I am Mercedes Varnado and I am here at Newsom Eyes getting my new eyes and I can’t wait, and apparently, I need them, because look at my sticker, guys. I put them upside down. Yeah, so I can’t see. So, I cannot wait to get my new set of eyes so I can see right!”

Sasha was pictured with several members of her surgical team. The operation was a success, and Newsom Eye noted that she is now seeing better again. Sasha Banks’ surgery is known as PRK, which is an alternative for those who cannot get the more common LASIK procedure.

Banks famously walked out on WWE after she became unhappy with the way she was being booked. Sasha and Naomi were subsequently suspended indefinitely by WWE. Neither has commented publicly on the situation.

Regardless of her status in the wrestling world, it is good news that Sasha Banks got her vision taken care of. Sasha was also sporting a brand new look in the photos and videos the clinic shared. Time will tell what’s next for The Boss, but it was great to see her in high spirits.
