Troy ‘Two Dimes’ Donovan barely got a chance to shine in NXT before he was fired by WWE. Two Dimes teamed with Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo and Tony D’Angelo in a gang war with Legado Del Fantasma at the recent In Your House premium live event. After taping two weeks of NXT in advance, Donovan was let go.

At the time he was fired, it was noted that Troy Donovan violated an unidentified WWE policy. He was told to come back in about a year. Donovan has now acknowledged his mistake and pledged to fans that he will be back.

Two Dimes said the mistake doesn’t define him. He did not go into detail about specifics. He also thanked fans who have reached out to show their support.

“Thank you to everyone who’s reached out. Mistakes happen and lessons are learned. A bump in the road doesn’t define me though. I’ll be back”

Tony D’Angelo’s family has been one of the major stables in NXT 2.0. After defeating Legado, Tony D. took control of Santos Escobar’s group. Two Dimes played a pivotal role in that storyline.

Time will tell if Troy Donovan makes it back to WWE. He has taken responsibility for the mistake that cost him his job. If Two Dimes has any say in the matter, he won’t be gone for long.
