Original: Jeff Hardy has been having a spectacular run in AEW along with his brother, Matt Hardy. After Jeff walked out on WWE, he seemed to have found the place he wanted to be. Unfortunately, Hardy just can’t seem to escape his demons.
According to the Volusia County Division of Corrections, Jeff Hardy was booked today on charges of driving under the influence. Hardy was also charged with driving with a suspended license. Jeff is still listed as in custody.
Many fans speculated that Jeff Hardy might have fallen off the wagon when he left in the middle of a WWE house show match. Ultimately, those accusations were proven untrue. We will have to wait for the details of Hardy’s latest arrest.
According to police documents, Jeff was booked at 12:45 this afternoon. Hardy’s bond was set at $3,500. There is no word on when he will have to face a judge.
Jeff Hardy has a long and well-documented history of substance abuse issues. It seemed as though he was finally on the straight and narrow. As more facts emerge about Jeff’s case, the picture will become clearer.
AEW has not commented on the arrest of Jeff Hardy. Matt Hardy has also not mentioned the incident on social media. Hopefully, Jeff can find the support and help he seems to need in this difficult time.
